Q: I cannot connect with the activation server. What is wrong?
A: Most likely, a poor internet connection is responsible, especially when a GSM provider is used to establish connections (even UMTS). You should also make sure that:
– You have the current version of the Activator program.
– There are libraries: libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll located in the catalogue of the Activator program.

Q: I cannot install the VCP on Windows Vista. The program does not load.
A: Ensure that during the installation, you have conducted every step in accordance with steps and conditions listed on the website:

VCP is fully compatible with MS Windows Vista, MS Windows 7 and it is marked with the logo “Certified for Windows Vista”. However, in order to install the program properly and to be able to download the updates, be aware of four things:
1. The user who installs the VCP MUST possess administrative rights in the Operating System (MS Windows Vista or MS Windows 7).
2. The “User Account Control” function must be disabled.
3. VCP should be installed outside the “Program Files” folder and in a separate folder (e.g. “C:\VCP”).
4. While downloading, any antivirus control should be disabled.

Q: My connection between the VCP program and the vehicle is unstable. The program displays incomplete driver data or breaks the connection. What should I do?
A: The program has a special diagnostic mode which enables individual selection of settings for the system based on the user’s computer log analysis. You should:
1. Run the VCP software.
2. Press the following buttons at the same time: CTRL + SHIFT + ALT + D, a debugger window will open.
3. Tick the login boxes in the debugger. (Login to file and communication login)
4. Minimize the debugger window. (do NOT exit)
5. Try to diagnose the driver creating problems from the level of VCP.
6. Close the debugger.
7. Send an email to Revtronic with the generated log from the directory on drive C:\cancomm_log

Q: Acustomer came in with a VW Passat 3C to replace the rear brake pads. I took the clamps back using the OCF function, but they stepped aside too little and pads do not fit. What should I do?
A: The client waited too long to replace the pads and as a result, they have been used up to the limit. After the withdrawal of the clamps (using OCF), push the piston into the cylinder deeper mechanically.

Q: When I try to connect to the server, the “No authorization to connect” message is displayed.
