KESSv2 is the tenchological evolution of Alientech systems, dedicated to the communication via OBD with the Engine Control Unit, available for cars, bikes, and trucks.
The management software is easy and professional, is available in several languages.
The update is completely automatic, limiting user intervention to the mere working operations on the ECU.
Connection between KESSv2 and vehicles takes place by using special hardwrae and wiring, provided according to the operation needed.
Simply connect the KESSv2 to the car, select make/model , read ,save file.
Send the file to us, we will then send the tuned file back to you.
Now repeat the above procedure , instead press write.

KESSv2 also offers many EXTRA features compared to other tools to improve its performances:
- Boot-Loader mode supported – means you cab remove ECU and go direcctly without connecting lots of wires.
- Management of programming counters – on some cars , every time you flah the ECU it stores the number of attempts, you can reset this.
- ScanTool function to erase DTC – erase any errors stored in the ECU, therefore eliminating the need of another scan tool.
Features which ensure the safety during reading/writing operations can be summarised as:
- Check of battery voltage in real-time – lets you know if the car battery has enough charge to carry on.
- Full Recovery function in case of problems – if your laptop battery or the reading/writing fails, you safely recover.
- Automatic correction of Checksum, where available – the KESSv2 will automatically generate the correct checksum for the car.
Options available are :
MASTER hardware option is offered unlike some tuning companies, this means that you can REUSE the files that we provide.
This way you are not tied down by buying a slave machine, meaning that you have to get all the files from them and cannot use the files again.
SLAVE hardware option is a good and economical choice as the hardare costs less , however you can only use the file tuning file on the car you are doing.
The files are normally crypted
The management of the time of communication with the vehicle is optimised thanks to:
- Several options of reading/writing speed – option to read fast/slow
- Option to write: full file/section of the map – you can write partial files to save time.
- Full integration with ECM Titanium – if you write your own maps.
KESSv2 supports the following communications lines:
- K-LINE
- CAN bus
- J1850 Protocol (Ford)
- J1708 Protocol (Renault and Volvo TRW)
(All these protocols are built into the KESSv2 hardwrare, you dont need any adaptors , just an OBD cable connected to the car.)
The KESSv2 is normally supplied with FULL CAR SUPPORT, the BIKE option is given FREE.
(Truck support is a payable optional extra.)
